What's included with the Resources?

Introduction

Culinary Solutions Australia Pty Ltd is a Registered Training Organisation with over twelve years experience specialising in the hospitality training and assessment industry.

They have spent many years developing comprehensive, up to date and compliant training and assessment tools for hospitality students drawing upon their extensive experience in both the hospitality and education industries.

These quality training and assessment resources are now available for use by other RTO’s saving them the time, expense and frustration of resource development.

By choosing to use Culinary Solutions Australia’s quality hospitality training and assessment resources you can concentrate more on sales and building your business and less on resource development

All training materials have been developed to meet the Elements and Performance Criteria in the SIT07 Hospitality Training Package for each unit of competence related to that subject.

Current student resources available are for RTOs delivering the following qualifications:

We also provide you with your own personal “on line” log in password which gives you electronic access to these fully editable training and assessment documents for your organisation.

This service means you can download and change as much as you wish the editable documents to suit your delivery and assessment strategies for your individual students (contextualization)

Assessment Tools

Each unit of competence is supplied with a variety of Assessment Tools. These include:
Activities – These are contained within each student resource and are designed to be completed in the classroom as the class progresses

Assignment Activities – These are designed for the student to complete in their own time or a trainer/teacher may allocate class time depending on the time available. For more complex units we would certainly recommend a trainer/teacher allocate some class time for students to ask questions and discuss their assignments with the teacher.

Student presentations – Each student researches a particular aspect of the unit of competence and delivers a 5 to 10 minute presentation to the class on that aspect of the subject. This helps develop presentation skills for the students and promotes class participation as well as providing a task with can be used as oral assessment.

Written Assessments – These are used to gather evidence of underpinning knowledge for both theory and practical units. They may be used as an assignment for the student to complete in their own time or as a formal written test.

Observation and Demonstration Reports – Designed to be used by the trainer to record when the Trainer/Assessor observed the student perform a task in a practical environment.

Supervisor Reports – Designed to be completed by a workplace supervisor who observes the student over a period of time.

Oral Question Reports  – Designed for Trainers /Assessors to ask structured, consistent questions for each unit to assess required Skills and Knowledge and Critical Aspects of assessment.

We sit down with you to discuss your individual needs on how you want your resources and assessment materials provided to you.

With you we design your own personal Client Profile so we can put together your training and assessment materials exactly how you want them. This means after we deliver it to you all you have to do is just lift it out of the box and give it to the student.

Imagine never having to stand around the photocopier again wasting time printing your own materials. Just pick up the phone or send us an e-mail and we’ll do it ALL for you.

You may not even wish to print your own Unit Marking Guides, Observation & Demonstration Checklists or any of the additional tools mentioned before. No problem! We’ll print them for you and there’s NO extra charge.

We can even collate each student’s materials in their own individual Student Folder which is badged with their name, course code and index.

All YOU do is order just what you need then we will post you each students’ materials to you exactly how you want them!

All materials are collated in white 4 Ring Binders with tabs and come in three sizes depending in how many resources you need.

  • 50mm folders cost $12.20 (including GST)
  • 38mm folders cost $12.20 (including GST)
  • 25mm folder costs $9.00 (including GST)

All prices include FREE postage within Victoria . For interstate a charge of $14.50 per box applies with full internet tracking
