Culinary Solutions Academy and Training Resource Solutions are committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.

What is Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and why do we collect it?

In general, Culinary Solutions Academy and Training Resource Solutions only collect this information for club membership purposes and course enrolment purposes, including name, country and email address to establish goods and service tax status, enrol in club membership and to provide a student access into an online eLearning database hosted on the Coassemble platform, the Coassemble privacy policy can be found at https://coassemble.com/privacy-policy

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you and providing information to your educational institution.

What do we use Personal Identifiable Information for?

Personal Identifiable Information will be used by us only:

For the primary purpose for which it was obtained (to enrol you in a training program or club membership)
For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose
With your consent; or where required or authorised by law.

Direct marketing

Culinary Solutions Academy and Training resource Solutions will not use any student personal information for any marketing purposes, but may use business information such as business email, address and phone number for direct marketing by Culinary Solutions Academy Training Resource Solutions but will not disclose to a third party marketing entity.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Your Personal Information may be disclosed in a number of circumstances including the following:

Third parties where you consent to the use or disclosure; and
Where required or authorised by law.

Security of Personal Information

Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing.

Training Resource Solutions will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information

It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.

Culinary Solutions Academy and Training Resource Solutions is aware of the Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme.

Under the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme any organisation or agency the Privacy Act 1988 covers must notify affected individuals and the OAIC when a data breach is likely to result in serious harm to an individual whose personal information is involved.

a device with a customer’s personal information is lost or stolen
a database with personal information is hacked
personal information is mistakenly given to the wrong person.

The notification to individuals must include recommendations about the steps they should take in response to the data breach.

If you have a complaint or concern regarding use, storage or disclosure of any personal information the please follow the following steps.

Contact us directly in writing and detail your concerns and how we can contact you to discuss the matter. This will give us an opportunity to investigate and rectify any problem and report back to you within five business days or as soon as practicable.
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your concerns, you can ask for a and internal review by the Managing Director of Training Resource Solutions, we would aim to conduct this review within 21 days or as soon as practicable as we may need to seek legal advice.
If you are dissatisfied with the internal review outcome you are entitled to make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (AOIC) by visiting oaic.gov.au
